CHATHAM HERITAGE DOCK YARD is to be nominated in World Heritage status. Lower Upnor Depot is part of the proposed heritage site and this needs to be developed in a suitable manner rather than as some house builder might wish in order to maximise his profit. In this we have an ally on the Medway Council, namely Joanne Cable, Chatham World Heritage Manager, who has already confirmed her wish to co-operate with Upnor Residents Association.
